Two Easy Ways to Refer a Friend

  1. Have your friend(s) apply online. Just provide them with your Action Pass membership number and invite them to apply online. Make sure they apply at sportchaletvisa.com/friend. Send them an email with the info and you’re both on your way to earning a $20 reward bonus1!
  2. Have your friends apply for the Sport Chalet Visa card by phone.
    Be sure they know your Action Pass membership number when they call 866-637-0265 Ext. 87401, to apply. Your 12-digit Action Pass number can also be found on the back of you Sport Chalet Visa Card. By providing your membership number, it will ensure you receive your reward bonus.
Each person you refer earns you a reward bonus!
Once the applicant is approved and issued a new Sport Chalet Visa card your reward bonus will be applied to the reward balance on your statement. Remember that each time you reach $25 in rewards, you will automatically receive a $25 Sport Chalet Visa Reward Certificate2.You cannot earn a Refer-A-Friend gift card by referring someone who is already a Sport Chalet Visa cardmember or an applicant who has been referred by someone else. If the referred application is not approved, no bonus will be awarded.

Your Action Pass membership number must be included on the referred cardmember application for you to be eligible for the bonus reward. Please allow eight to ten weeks after the referred new account is approved to receive your gift card.

Your account must be open and in good standing to be eligible for the bonus.

1 A $20 reward bonus (equal to 2,000 bonus points) is awarded to the existing Cardmember's reward balance when a friend is referred to apply for the Sport Chalet Visa Card and is approved and makes a first purchase. Due to confidentiality, sponsors cannot be notified, either in writing or by phone, as to which referrals have been approved for the Sport Chalet Visa card. A $20 reward bonus is also issued to the applicant ("friend") upon approval and with the first use of the Sport Chalet Visa Card. The reward bonus for the new cardmember replaces the standard $10 reward first purchase bonus. Existing accounts do not qualify.

2 Every 2,500 points earned on your Sport Chalet Visa Card will automatically be redeemed for a $25 Sport Chalet Visa Reward Certificate valid for use at Sport Chalet. Sport Chalet Visa Reward Certificates expire 90 days from date of issuance. Reward points expire five (5) years from the date earned. Complete terms and conditions for the Sport Chalet Visa Reward Program, including rules regarding net purchases, the redemption, expiration, loss or cancellation of points, awards, award thresholds, eligibility, or participation, and U.S. Bank's right to amend or terminate the Program are set forth in the Sport Chalet Visa Cardmember Agreement which will be provided to Sport Chalet Visa Cardmembers.
